iLive UK & iLive Toronto joined forces to air the many variations of Jazz music throughout their playlist for the month. iLive UK’s Ra Hendricks & Fox from MusiCollektive presented special programs to celebrate this occasion.

This year 2021 has been no different in presenting the world with the iLive JazzFest our yearly event; except with the addition of iLive Toronto’s DJ Scully & Gazza who present Always Digging. We hope to bring the UK a monthly bite sized version of the JazzFest; (JazzFest Lounge).

iLive UK then hosted 2 open days for interns looking to gain experience within the radio/media industry. On day one we welcomed 26 promising interns. On day two we received 12 promising interns through our doors.

Covid-19

Unfortunately the world wide Covid-19 pandemic of 2020/21 arrived and iLive UK had to stop it’s live broadcasts and temporarily close the station’s doors. However many of the shows continued to broadcast remotely for alternative locations.

The Future

The future for iLive UK is to fill out its roster with entertaining and engaging shows and deliver the best drive time and a breakfast shows.

We are also going to have once again host an open day for intern’s.

iLive UK are also looking at securing a location within the community to host its future events.

We have most recently been invited to the Heritage Live open air event Reggae on the Heath at Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath in North London hosted by David Rodigan & the Outlook Orchestra. We will be backstage getting up close and personal with the performing artists and bringing you Live interviews from the artists and Rodigan himself.

iLive will continue to serve its community by supporting its local businesses and offer them a voice to the world via our platform.

iLive UK will be working with a host of creatives, school, colleges & universities in supporting the next generation with iLive hosted workshops and opportunities to gain work experience and a recognised qualification of achievement.
