Goodness Gracious Ginger

Patricia Tomlinson, born in Manchester, England, of Jamaican heritage.  I have worked full-time since leaving college, it’s the ‘normal’ thing to do in the status quo system, right?

Fast forward to winter 2018, I make my daily hot ginger drink to take to work in a flask.  Spring 2019 arrives with sunshine and warmth, it’s now too warm for this hot drink.  An idea hits my head, add ice to it, and boom! It’s refreshing and delicious!  I share it with colleagues who love it too, some couldn’t get enough of what I brought in for myself and were saying things like “I need my stress buster juice, please!”

In the middle of the night, I hear “why aren’t you selling this?”, I cower into my mattress thinking, I’m not a businesswoman, that’s not me!!  However, the idea of selling wouldn’t leave me, so I stepped out of my comfort zone and went for it. I let colleagues, friends and family know who said things like, “Fabulous! Finally, I can get my own instead of taking some of yours” or “I don’t care how much, I need this drink!”

The year 2020 saw the official launch of my company Goodness Gracious Ginger.  The more I stepped out, and believed, the more help, advice and opportunities became available to me, I couldn’t have imagined it!  Believe me, it’s hard work.

There are times when I’d wake up in the morning not knowing how I was going to accomplish all the things on the to-do list and work full-time, because of how tired I was, but by the end of the day, tasks were accomplished and wondering (truly knowing) where my strength came from!

I am grateful beyond measure to my CEO, my Father God!

I am the founder of Goodness Gracious Ginger which is a remedy made with you in mind!
